Fred Kalyowa is a Librarian/information officer working with Child Health and Development Centre. He is also senior researcher whose key academic qualifications are BLIS (MUK) and Msc (Information science) MUK. Areas of expertise are in information systems, document/literature review, referencing, records management and health systems research. Fred is also a survey researcher who has carried out research in many districts in Uganda. He has additional special short training in project planning and management, Epidemiology and Bio-Statistics, Medical Anthropology, and project planning and management. He has been involved in research studies, conducting trainings and consultancies in management information systems, monitoring and evaluation and has presented some of the findings to international meetings.
